Good work guys, back to the Boss mobs tonite to get some practice for this weekends NTOV.

Wudan is again recruiting 1-2 Mages, 1-2 Necros and a good Enchanter.

After we knocked over keeper3.0 we took our first guild only trip to Veeshans Peak, and first dragon dead. Not bad for a first exploration trip. Time to whip some lazy guildies to get some keys made! Not amazing loot, but it sure was fun fighting Silverwing with that number of people.

Interestingly we've turned the corner on ST keys. Every melee that is a full member now has a ST key! We'll be backing up our priorty on ST key mobs and finally turn our attention to stabbing MoBs with those shiny new primal toys.

What an amazing first trip. Next time, we do the whole lot in one day. Most amazing part was pulling Arrynoar, getting ALL clerics hit by manadrain, and STILL winning. I dont know HOW our clerics/shaman/enc pulled this off, but we fought Arry with no mana.. /boggle.

The last set of triplets evaded death :(. That sure is a tricky pull. On the bright side we eventually worked out the secrets of far north TOV, but it was too late to engage the dragons. These three hos are now earmarked for death.

We finally ran out of mobs to kill, resorting to killing Velks w/ his guards at the same time for fun and then scraping the barrel by killing Wooshi! Had our first run-in with the 450 Dain earlier too. Ouch. Ah well, hes added to the KOS list and we'll have Merri+Trylun send bolts of Elnericks lighting where the sun dont shine next time :).

Were killing a lot of stuff atm, and pushing towards our guild goal of NTOV on the 25th, so I'm gonna keep news updates for... well.. news. No more lists of phat lewt from mobs we kill twice a week. I'll add a list of what we did for our members benifit and try to keep this section to information thats actually worth checking.

First off check this:

This was our first guild event on sonta with about 50% attendence. What a bastard. Ah well, better to loose by a sliver than to get owned I guess. STILL, very fustrating. On a brighter note, we killed our first KLANDICAR with ZERO deaths, and added another keeper kill with only two deaths.

Wudan top tips!

Tenken: Make a CT raid more of a challenge by casting MALO on the main tank and using shaman epic dot on him. Always fun when the MOB procs fear! Maybe that Brain you got will help things some...

Needra: Finish all parts of ring 9 and complain about Dain never being up. Then, when a guild member spawns dain for shawl 8, kill Dain before you remember that you needed to hand stuff in to him!

Grats Silverfalcon and Trylun on promotion to officer. Some admin and restructuring going on in Wudan at the moment and a few rule changes in the guild. Our new guild structure can be seen with the 'Guild' Link on our homepage.

From today, were only accepting NEW recruits/members at level 60. The only possible exception to this is Shaman, Clerics and Bards. The only classes we are recruiting at all, are Shaman, Clerics, Bards and Monks.

We've chosen NTOV as our next Guild Goal. Gearing up over the Next 2 weeks and going on a dragon killing spree on the 25th and 26th of May.

Wudan Mountain > NTOV? We shall see.

Jackpot!! Our first ever Wudan kill of CT! We managed to kill it first time desipte the fact Mr CH bug struck TWICE within the first 5 minutes. Some petty tasty loots on this four armed bish. Grats Cland on being able to see properly again!

After that, we spend a day at the Ring of Fire and well it was 'interesting'..... Need a new strat for that one, we'll hit it up next month.

Next bee in our bonet is the Glyphed in Sshara. As nobody on RZ seems to remember how to spawn it (*cough*) we'll be there for a while figuring it out for ourselves. Actually it was fun working it out as we went along. Thanks for the patience peeps.

Anyone who knows Wudan will know that The Thought Horror Overbite has been a thorn in ourside since we started to raid Luclin. We tried lots of strats to compensate for our less than uber DPS, indluding some pretty far fetched strats.

In the end, we moved to the 'Get your guild primal out the ass and beat the mofo down' strat which seemed to work just great. Little bit of creative pulling and a pefect raid by our clerics/warriors gave us this kill we been waiting so long for.

Expect to see this oversized muppet face down a lot more often now!

Were SLOWING down recruitment over the next month. Current guests and initiates will be held, but new applicants will only be accepted for the following classes for the next 2-4 weeks:

Ever had that problem where you're trying to find out what dropped but some git always ninjaloots the corpse and locks it, then goes AFK so you have no clue whats on the corpse or what the stats are? Well, last nite we didnt have that problem.

We had about 40 people down to try our first guild+inits Yelnik and peeps were so buzzing they actually forgot to loot the corpse. Imagine my surprise when I began to start my usual right-click- loot-the-corpse battle and got on first time and all the droppable stuff was still there. Fights like that make the game exciting, thanks Wudan.

After that it was back to some old school ST raiding with our minimal crew fighting down hardcore style to kill Final Arbitor, Warder 1+2 with no losses. Might be old news so some peeps, but it felt good to see people rewarded for all their hard work. Grats to all who got loot last nite.

Working as intended? Sheeesh, I'm sounding more and more like a pompus blubie guild leader every day. Errr timesinks suck! Upgrade our lewt! Make stuff harder! There, thats better :).

Its an encounter that requires a tight crew to hold it together for a pretty long fight. Result? First dead IV!

As for rules of engagement, it seems the rule on RZ is, if you have a character in the zone when a mob spawns, the mob is yours and you are entitled to KS it from any other group even if they started attacking the mob first.

Slight change to recruiting policy, minimum level on clerics to join Wudan has been lowered to 52. Be warned that we excpect very high standards from our clerics.

Since its been almost a week since patch, I guessed we'd be in for a relaxing weekend before next weeks patch.... wrong. A fun weekend seen a mix of encounters from SOL to Velious including:

Rhags, Dain, Zlandicar, Klandicar, Servitor, Grieg and Warders in Sleepers Tomb.

We _nearly_ had the screenshot of three Warder corpses side by side... I blame Kadarx for going LD. Next time, we'll pull and I'll tank their asses so we get our SS!

Finally, grats Silverfalcon on ST key+primal spear, Ticat on primal bow and grats Pyrosprial on NOT getting a primal brawl stick again, WOOT! Always makes me happy to see a grown gnome cry.

Oh, before I get all the tells saying: "OMG you gave an item with combine gate to a wizard!", its worth noting that Wudan loot is a "Deserves before greed" loot system. Often items go to those who can benifit from it most, but more often, people that have missed out on loot or REALLY want an item or REALLY deserve an item will get it. Works better than you think!

As for recuiting, our priority needs are: Monk/Rogue/Necro/Mage/Cleric/Pally.

Allow me to explain. See if you look carefully, you may notice this isnt the same corpse. That's right, you think the server reset messed you up?? Think about the people that camped in Arry's spot cause it was 'safe'. Not able to beat us in a straight fight, Arry got the GMS to reset the servers so he could respawn and stop us gettting to NTOV. Nice try, too bad wudan+doz > you punk.

As you can expect lots of other dragons died. Thanks to everyone for busting their ASSES to make this happen, and making running this raid a pleasure, not a chore. I'll stick some loot shots up tomorrow, right now, I cant wait to log on and keel some more with my friends :)

In case wanna know how we managed to defeat Arry, its simple. We payed HIV 15k to go kill it for us. Since we take money to complete their entire epics, I thought it was time we asked them to repay the favour... ya right.
